Accupuncture

Acupuncture / Dry Needling

The ancient art of acupuncture involves inserting fine needles into specific points on the body. Using the knowledge of the fourteen energy meridians in Traditional Chinese Medicine, specific acupuncture points are chosen to decrease pain, relax spasm, reduce inflammation and restore function and movement in your body.

Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS)

Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) is a diagnostic and treatment system used to manage chronic musculoskeletal pain conditions that present without obvious signs of injury or inflammation. The treatment utilizes acupuncture needles to specifically target shortened muscle tissue, releasing taut, tender muscle bands which are pressing on and irritating nerves. IMS, in effect, treats the underlying neuropathic condition that causes the pain.
